Here's what I'm going to do about that: I am in the process of creating a sectionon this page out of that summary guide (with everyone's permission, of course), and watch for it to be up pretty soon! Thanks David!

  ooooh, magik. magik is my most favourite person ever. you 
  might say i have a slight obsession with the darkchylde. 
  my ex-boyfriend always thought something was wrong with me,
  because whenever we went somewhere and i sat outside to
  smoke, i'd talk to illyana - my imaginary friend. he thought
  i was crazy. maybe i am. all i know is that i love magik.

  First -- This site rocks! Magik rules, and I'm still waiting for
  Marvel to get their heads on straight and bring her back.

  Second -- Is anyone else just a wee bit annoyed at the whole 
  Limbo/Soulsword revision that has occurred since Magik's "death."
  First there was th every lame tale of Dr. Doom trying to take over 
  Limbo because it wasn't really Limbo just a pile of Promethium. 
  That ended with Darkoth the Demon (C'mon, how lame!) ending up 
  the guardian of Limbo and the Soul Sword. Then someone decides 
  to not resolve that and bring back the SoulSword to Kitty again.
  I figured, "Yeah! They're wiping out that promethium crap!" but 
  no, now the sword is forged of "soulsteel" and any time it's used 
  some poor crazy woman is in deep pain. Fine, whatever! Then the 
  whole Amanda Sefton/Margali thing was touched upon and will get
  bigger soon. I'm actually excited about Belasco's return but this 
  upcoming story like all the others I've just mentioned seem to 
  assume that the SoulSword existed before Illyana conjured it and 
  really has no link to her...

  This makes me angry only because the original story of how the 
  Soulsword came to be revealed so much about Illyana and her
  struggle for freedom. It was literally a part of her soul. But
  now Marvel seems to be presenting it as any other magical weapon 
  that can be picked up and discarded. (Remember when only Illyana
  or Kitty could touch it?) 
  They might as well redo the orginal Magik limited series and just
  give a random gun that she found!

  Anyway, thanks for letting me rant and for keeping up such a great 
  site! Until Magik returns and sticks the Soulsword up Bastion's a**!!
Well said! Everyone: stand up and give this man a hand. Listen, Mike: I could not agree more. Magik's SoulSword was one of the greatest ideas Chris Claremont came up with and reflected just who Magik/Illyana Rasputin was. Now, they've completely demeaned it AND Illyana and somehow got the idea that everyone who ever read the New Mutants or followed Magik would just forget. Maybe, just MAYBE, they have a way to get out of this (and they probably do, I can't imagine that would totally and irrevocably retcon the SoulSword thinking no one would notice), but I just don't think I, or Illyana, will like it too much!
